Entry #1 My love for writing

Hello Writers! Welcome back to my blog!

Hey there! I'm Josephine, a 20-year-old writer from Tanzania. I got to say, the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of my homeland really inspire my stories. Writing is my absolute passion and my voice it's like a canvas where I can paint my thoughts and feelings. It allows me to explore unknown worlds, live unimagined lives, and experience emotions I never thought possible.

In the quiet corners of my days, when the world slows down and the sun shines brightly, I find solace in the art of creative writing. It’s more than just entertainment or hobby.  It’s my sanctuary, my canvas, and my compass. Whether I’m writing in an outdated notebook or tapping a digital screen, the act of stitching words together is my escape.

In my opinion, I think Writing is a silent conversation, an exchange of hearts and minds. When I write a letter, I bridge the gap between people who are far away. When composing a poem, I whisper to the moon, which answers in starry waters. And when the characters have conversations on my pages, they share conversations I’ve had—questions, doubts, hopes.
When I was just, I never planned or thought that I would write a book someday, but today I realize I am able to do that, in fact I have already published a book on amazon. Short story, in 2021 I started to put all my writing through it and realized I have four themes which come out to be four books, shared with my siblings. I expected it to be four books. Three are already done, one is already public on amazon (two keys to a successful journey) and the two others are almost finished which are Voice of Tomorrow and the 738 days in Africa which will be done by august.
In conclusion, writing is not just a hobby; it is an integral part of my identity. It’s a passion that goes beyond the act of putting words to paper—it’s a celebration of life itself. As I continue to write, I do so in the hope that my stories or my creativity will reflect not only my own self but also touch the lives of others.

  1. Hi Josephine! I relate to your thoughts on how comforting writing can be. For me, I personally can’t write a good short story, but I do like writing poems from time to time as it really engages you in contemplating on things like the rhyme scheme, meter, and different rhetorical devices. - Tristan Cheung

    1. Hi! I do love poems too, that was my favorite writing class before books come on my mind.
Now I focus mostly on book writing themes.

  2. I enjoyed learning more about your interest in writing. Don't forget that one of the benefits of writing in this medium is to visually engage your reader with images/pictures/gifs/etc. that connect to the ideas you are discussing. Also, integrating hyperlinks gives readers immediate access to additional points/information you are discussing -- for instance, hyperlink to your book on Amazon and include an image of the cover for the book as well.
